Chrome most visited not updating
Hi, Trying to find the answer to my problem and stumbled across this forum, so I hope somebody can help me please.
I've been using Chrome for several weeks now but have suddenly hit a snag - all my Most Visited have disappeared. Daisy x What version of Chrome or Chromium are you using? Don't think I'm in incognito mode (where would I find this? My recently closed pages & recent bookmarks are showing on the right-hand side, and until yesterday morning all my MV have been displayed but just disappeared overnight while my PC was turned off. Sorry - should have said at the outset - my level of all things technical is virtually nil!
If its unintentional then it seems like that would be your main problem.
Click on that: it will change to the default settings, but hey, it will also clear your browsing history and disable extensions.
If you are intentionally blocking chrome from storing your history then try turning your history on and visiting the sites you want on the new tab page then turning it off again(I do not know how to turn it on or off on command).
Search for browser.newtab.url, right click, click Reset.
type '''browser.newtab.url''' in the search box, and then '''right-click on it '''and select '''reset'''.
I've read answers that state go to the about: config. I simply want my most visited sites upon opening a new tab feature restored. I have checked through my add-ons and can't find the solution. type browser.in the search box, and then right-click on it and select reset. *Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window or otherwise make changes.

Search for browser.newtabpage.enabled, right click, click Reset. see: New Tab Page – show, hide and customize top sites thank you Hello tee6942, is about:config not about: config (no space between : and config) in the [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/awesome-bar-find-your-bookmarks-history-and-tabs Location bar], type [ about:config] and press Enter.
